What this website collects, why, and what it doesn’t do.
Who we are
This website is run by Colla, which includes Colla Weddings, Colla Guides, Colla Finds and Colla Shop. You can contact us at info@hellocolla.com.
What I collect, and why
- If you join a list: your email address and, if you give them, your first name and planning stage. Along with it, the site sends anything you marked “I want this”, any idea or poll answer you typed into the site, and which page you signed up on. I use these to send what you asked for and to understand what to build next. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- If you send an inquiry: your name, email address and message, so I can reply.
- On your device only: your planning stage and the things you marked “I want this” are remembered in your browser so the site can show you relevant things. They’re only sent if you sign up (see above).
Who helps run this site
- Hosting: Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs.
- Fonts: Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads its fonts.
- Email list: MailerLite, once the list is switched on. Your details may be stored outside your country under its own safeguards.
- Inquiries: your email app, or a form service such as Formspree if one is connected.
- The golden hour finder: Open-Meteo receives the place name you type, to find it on the map. Your date stays in your browser.
- The sample Journal: runs in its own sealed frame. It may load a screenshot library from cdnjs and Spotify players if you press play.
You’ll get one email to confirm your sign-up first, and nothing else arrives unless you confirm. Every email has an unsubscribe link. I keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them.
Analytics and cookies
This site doesn’t use advertising cookies. If I add analytics to see which pages are useful, I’ll use a privacy-friendly tool and update this page to say which one.
Your rights
You can ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Email info@hellocolla.com and I’ll help. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Site terms
The guides, notes and tools on this site are general information to help you plan. They aren’t financial, legal or professional advice. Your suppliers’ written terms always come first.
Products marked “in the making” or “in testing” aren’t yet for sale, and details may change before they launch. Joining a list isn’t a purchase or a pre-order.
The Colla names, logos and designs belong to Colla. Please don’t reuse them without asking.
